Beverly H. Thiemke, 89, of Marshfield passed away unexpectedly the afternoon of Friday, October 30, 2026 at Stoney River Assisted Living where she and her husband had been residents.
Per her request there will be no public services.
Beverly was born August 3, 1937 on the family farm in the town of Cary to Berlie and Reba (Dickson) McDonald and was raised in the Pittsville area. She was united in marriage October 6, 1956 to LeRoy J. Thiemke at the 1st Congregational Church in Pittsville. Following their honeymoon they made their home in Marshfield.
Beverly found joy in creating, whether through her crafts, her painting, or her cooking and baking—especially all those pies. She loved being a hostess, welcoming others and sharing the pleasures of a home-cooked meal. Craft shows and visits to the Hatfield Flea Market were favorite outings, and square dancing held a special place among the activities she loved. These simple pleasures reflected her creativity and her love of bringing people together.
Beverly is survived by her Husband of 70 years, LeRoy, and their three daughters: Laurie (Roger) Mancl of Hewitt, Lois (Joe) Bunkelman of Athens, and Lynne Thiemke of Stevens Point. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren: Nicole Koch, Kayla (Jon) Zuelke, Lacey Mancl, Tyler Mancl, Tiffany (Rich) Kruit, Cody Bunkelman, Chelsea (Alec) Luddecke, Kelsey (Chris) Lueddecke, and Nathon Thiemke. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and her sister Audrey Messer of Darien.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
