The 2026 Partisan Election Primary was held on Tuesday. Voters could only cast a ballot for one party.
For contested Wood County races, on the Republican side, Tom Tiffany received 7,940 votes over Andy Manske’s 448 for Governor.
For Lt. Governor, David Varnam received 4,046 votes over Will Martin’s 3,369.
For Secretary of State, Jay Schroeder received 3,256 votes, Nate Pollnow received 1,761, Cindy Werner received 1,282, and Brayden Myer received 967.
For the 7th Congressional District, Michael Alfonso received 2,035 votes, Kevin Hermening received 811, Jessi Ebben received 546 votes, Niina Baum received 122 votes, and Don Raihala received 98 votes.
For Clerk of Courts, Kimberly Stimac received 5,077 votes and Amanda Dolph received 2,604 votes.
For contested races on the Democratic side, for Governor, David Crowley received 2,933 votes, Francesca Hong received 2,979 votes, Kelda Roys received 524 votes, Madela Barnes received 517 votes, Sara Rodriguez received 487 votes, Joel Brennan received 261 votes, and Missy Hughes received 84 votes.
For State Treasurer, Yee Leng Xiong received 3,749 votes and Dylan Ray Helmenstine received 3,100 votes.
For the 3rd Congressional District, Rebecca Cooke received 3,015 votes and Emily Berge received 1,657 votes
For the 7th Congressional District, Fred Clark received 1,012 votes, Ginger Murray received 946 votes, and Chris Armstrong received 823 votes.
