The Marshfield Area United Way is holding their Supplies 4 Success backpack, school supplies, and hygiene drive from now through August 3rd.
They’re holding a drive for the Marshfield area and for school districts in Clark County, including Abbotsford, Colby, Granton, Greenwood, Loyal, Neillsville, and Owen-Withee, and the Clark County Drive is in partnership with Sanford Health Marshfield Clinic. Support area children by donating new items from the list or sponsoring a child through a monetary gift.
Supplies that can be donated include backpacks, crayons, colored pencils, folder, glue sticks, highlighters, index cards, loose-leaf paper, markers, spiral notebooks, composition notebooks, pencil box/pouch, pencils, pens (blue & black), 1” and 3” binders, water bottle, and earbuds/headphones.
Hygiene supplies that can be donated include shampoo/conditioner, body wash/soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and feminine products. You can also sponsor a child for $50, sponsor a hygiene kit for $25, or sponsor both a backpack with supplies and a hygiene kit for $75.
