Crew D, with the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, completed a recent bar compliance check. Officers made contact with an individual who was on active probation and prohibited from being in a bar or possessing alcohol.
During the encounter, a search led to the discovery of approximately 108 grams of methamphetamine, 18 grams of fentanyl, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, and packaging materials commonly used in drug sales.
This arrest resulted in a significant amount of dangerous narcotics being taken off the streets. It’s another example of how proactive enforcement efforts can help keep illegal drugs out of our community and make our neighborhoods safer.
