Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force Seize Drugs and Firearms After Drug Bust

Last week, the Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force (CWNTF), with the help of the Marshfield Police Department, seized over $44,000 cash, 5.75 pounds of Methamphetamine, one kilogram of Cocaine, and two firearms after executing two search warrants in Marathon County.

The CWNTF is committed to keeping these dangerous drugs out of our community and works tirelessly to pursue every lead they get. The Task Force works on tips provided by the public and asks for your help in keeping our community safe.

The CWNTF is comprised of members from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Wisconsin State Patrol, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wausau Police Department, Everest Metro Police Department, Wisconsin’s Division of Criminal Investigation, Portage County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
