PDC is hosting its 2nd annual “Kick Out Domestic Abuse Family Fun Day” happening on Saturday May 18! Get ready for a day filled with excitement and meaningful connections as we come together to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault.   The event will feature a thrilling kickball tournament, a competitive bag tournament, and an array of carnival games to keep everyone entertained. Plus, there will be bingo and raffles baskets offering fantastic prizes.   However, amidst the fun, it's essential to recognize the challenges our agency is facing. Significant funding cuts threaten our ability to continue providing crucial support and resources to those affected by domestic abuse and sexual assault.   Despite these obstacles, our commitment to creating safer communities remains steadfast. Join us on May 18 as we unite for a day of fun with a purpose, demonstrating our resilience and determination to combat violence and abuse.

Legacy Stones are 12’x12’x2″ grey granite squares that represent one of the main means for meeting the operating and maintenance costs of The Highground Veterans Memorial Park. These stones are tributes to those special people we honor in our lives including Veterans and non-Veterans, living or passed, as well as supportive organizations. The public is invited to attend these ceremonies free of charge. For a donation of $495, families and organizations may place a stone in the Center Walkway, contribute material to the Registry books and participate in a moving dedication ceremony.
