Marshfield Utilities Water Department will close S. Peach Avenue between the intersections of 4th Street and 10th Street beginning the morning of Monday, June 22, 2026, to complete water service replacement work in the project area.
During the closure, both northbound and southbound traffic on S. Peach Avenue will be detoured via E. 4th Street, S. Central Avenue, and 14th Street. The roadway will remain closed to through traffic through Thursday, July 23, 2026, weather permitting.
Local access to residences and businesses will be maintained whenever possible; however, motorists should expect periodic access limitations and delays while construction activities are underway. All agencies, businesses, delivery services, school transportation providers, emergency responders, and other service organizations operating in or near the closure area are encouraged to plan accordingly and adjust routes as needed during the construction period.
This work is part of Marshfield Utilities’ ongoing efforts to improve and maintain critical water infrastructure, helping ensure the long-term reliability and safety of the community’s water system.
