Eight Sanford Health hospital locations across four states, including Wisconsin, have been recognized for their dedication to heart patients by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in the ACC advertising insert in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” Guidebook.

The three hospitals in Wisconsin include: Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield Medical Center – Weston, and Marshfield Medical Center – Eau Claire. All eight hospital locations are committed to providing top-level care.

Through participation in the ACC’s proven quality programs, they inform their robust quality improvement processes using data to drive improvements in adherence to guideline recommendations and overall quality of care provided to heart patients.

“We are honored, once again, to be recognized by the American College of Cardiology,” said Dr. Jeremy Cauwels, Sanford Health chief medical officer. “With eight of our Sanford Health hospitals across four states honored by the ACC, it reflects our commitment to deliver world-class care across our regional footprint. This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our outstanding caregivers devoted to the health, safety, and well-being of our heart patients.”
