Summary of Some Wood County Unofficial April 7th Election Results Including Marshfield School Board and City Mayoral Results

Here are some unofficial Wood County election results:

For State Supreme Court Judge, Chris Taylor received 10,002 votes and Maria Lazar received 9,302 votes. For Circuit Court Judge Branch 3, Emily Nolan-Plutchak received 9,588 votes and Elizabeth Gebert received 8,929 votes.

For County Board Supervisor, in District 2 Donna Rozar received 511 votes and Nat Bremer received 362 votes. For District 9, Paul Goldberg received 538 votes and Scott Brehm received 501 votes. For Marshfield Mayor, Nick Poeschel beat incumbent Lois TeStrake 2,279 votes to 1,989 votes.

For District 3 Alderperson in the City of Marshfield, incumbent Natasha Tompkins was re-elected with 474 votes over Joe Konieczny with 182 votes. For the Marshfield School Board, of the 6 candidates, the top 3 are elected to the Board, which includes Ben Will with 3,754 votes, Faith Meyers received 3,032 votes, and Mark Borchardt received 2,953 votes.

When adding in all voting areas for Marshfield School Board, which includes portions of Marathon and Clark County, those three were elected to the Board with total votes of 4,369, 3,504, and 3,457 votes respectively. The remaining candidates Dominic Pernsteiner, Brandon Taylor, and Mason Gukenberger received 2,743, 1,619, and 1,592 votes respectively in Wood County.

For the Stratford School Board, Eliot Waddell and Chris Dickinson were elected to the Board with 742 and 713 votes, respectively, beating Rick Rehm who received 527 votes. For the Mayor of Wisconsin Rapids incumbent Matt Zacher was re-elected over Tom Mews 2,943 votes to 940.

For Wisconsin Rapids City Attorney, Susan Schill received 2,354 votes and Adam Vanderwerff received 1,366 votes. For Wisconsin Rapids District 4 Alderperson, Jeff Penzkover received 237 votes over Tom Rayome received 236 votes.

For Wisconsin Rapids District 6 Alderperson, Dennis Polach received 249 votes and Shawn Ryan received 196 votes. The Wisconsin Rapids School Board referendum passed with 4,717 voting yes and 4,485 voted no. Find more results here: https://wdlbam.com/2026/04/07/today-is-election-day-in-wisconsin/
