Gerald E. Krall, 81, of Marshfield passed away peacefully on October 20th with his loving wife by his side at House of the Dove.
He was born on February 15, 1944 at the family farm in Edgar, WI to Ed and Ida (Alt) Krall. After his marriage to Patricia Severson in 1972, they owned and operated both Krall’s Furniture Manufacturing and Rainbow Bedroom Furniture. They operated the businesses for 37 years before retiring in 2013.
Jerry was an avid Packer, Bucks, Brewers and NASCAR fan. He also found his biggest enjoyments going to and cheering for his grandchildren’s sporting events. Playing softball and golf were also some of his favorite past times. He was always looking forward to telling jokes and re-living stories of his past adventures and childhood.
Along with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, he was greeted to a life with his Heavenly Father by his parents, brother Kenny, sister Gloria (Kafka), son-in-law Rick Guldan, granddaughter Kasey Guldan, and his in-laws Bernard and Virginia Severson.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, daughters Kathy Guldan (Nate Rasmussen) and Kelly (Tim) Kraus, and his sons Jeff and Terry (Traci) Krall. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is further survived by his siblings Shirley Swider and Bill Krall.
The family would like to extend deep appreciation to the medical staff at Marshfield Hospital 8N and the staff at the House of the Dove for their outstanding care.
The family will be having a private memorial at a future date.
