Wood County Health Department’s Final Summer Car Seat Check Being Held Tomorrow, August 19th

The Wood County Health Department is holding Car Seat Checks throughout the summer months.

Everyone is welcome to this free check, but you should call 715-421-8911 for an appointment. Individuals who qualify for reduced-cost car seats must attend a regularly scheduled car seat check event to receive their education and car seat.

Eligible recipients can receive a seat for a suggested donation of $25, but appointments are required. On August 19th, from 10:30am-12:30pm, they’ll be at the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department.
