McDonald’s is a proud “founding and forever partner” of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) but a number of local restaurants have been going above and beyond with their outstanding contributions.

AFSCO, Inc., which consists of 14 total McDonald’s restaurants throughout central and northcentral Wisconsin, has collectively raised more than $116,500 this year alone. Their support began years ago but with the increased efforts focused on Round-Up for RMHC since December of 2024, the group has increased donations significantly, in addition to their in-kind donation, volunteer hours and meal donation nights.

On average, stores raise nearly $1,400 per month through customer donations. All proceeds support the local Ronald McDonald House in Marshfield to help provide support for families that have a child in the hospital.

The community is invited to attend a community fundraising night at the Marshfield McDonald’s on Wednesday, July 16. From 4-7 pm, a portion of sales will benefit RMHC of Marshfield. On Thursday, August 14, Schofield McDonald’s will be hosting a fundraising night as well with proceeds from 4-7 pm being donated to RMHC of Marshfield. Round-Up will continue to be available at every location, every day.

John Bauer, Executive Director of RMHC of Marshfield stated: “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our friends at McDonald’s. This partnership not only helps us provide comfort, care, and housing to families with sick or injured children, but also deepens our connection to the community.”

“Through their generosity, we are able to serve more families and serve them better during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. McDonald’s is truly helping turn compassion into action, and we are thankful for the meaningful impact this support has on the families we serve.”

McDonald’s and RMHC of Marshfield extend their appreciation to community members that give so generously to support their efforts and in turn, support hundreds of families each year that are experiencing the emotional or financial stress associated with having their infant or child hospitalized.
