Wood County Health Department Holding Car Seat Checks this Summer; First is Next Tuesday

The Wood County Health Department is holding Car Seat Checks throughout the summer months.

Everyone is welcome to this free check, but you should call 715-421-8911 for an appointment. Individuals who qualify for reduced-cost car seats must attend a regularly scheduled car seat check event to receive their education and car seat. Eligible recipients can receive a seat for a suggested donation of $25, but appointments were required.

On May 20th, from 10:30am-12:30pm, they’ll be at the Marshfield Fire Department; on June 17th, from 10:30am-12:30pm, they’ll be at the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department; on July 15th from 10:30am-12:30pm, they’ll be at the Marshfield Fire Department; on August 19th, from 10:30am-12:30pm, they’ll be at the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department.
