The Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library’s Youth Services Department has exciting news about the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
In order to more accurately keep track of your child or children’s progress in the program, moving forward the library will be utilizing the Beanstack App for all participants. This is an app that you may be familiar with, and one that the library uses for all of their reading challenges at the library. A family can choose to track progress on the paper sheets, the YS Department will keep a record on the app for you as well.
Information that you provided when you signed up for the program will only be used in-house for ease of tracking and for quarterly newsletters that give you information about the 1,000 Books program at the library. They thank you again for being part of this wonderful early literacy program, and for starting children off on what will hopefully be a lifetime love of reading.
