(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A Wausau man accused of having sexual contact with a three-year-old girl during a backyard cookout this past summer was sentenced in Marathon County Court on Monday.
According to Mike Leischner with WSAU, investigators say Kristofor Rozner inappropriately touched the girl as she was inside the home, away from where others had gathered. The investigation started after the girl complained of pain in her vaginal area, leading doctors to discover foreign particles inside her body.
He’s also said to have threatened her parents if she told anyone about the incident. Police connected Rozner to the party through social media photos from the event. Formal charges against him were filed back in September.
During Rozner’s court appearance on Monday, he was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, felony intimidation of a witness, misdemeanor intimidation of a witness, and four counts of disorderly conduct.
A charge of 1st-degree child sexual assault was dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years of probation.
