Big Bertha is the Pet of the Week! She is a 5-year-old mixed breed and she is spayed. Big Bertha had this to say about herself: “Hi, I’m Big Bertha! I arrived at the shelter as a stray, and since no one came looking for me, I am now searching for my forever home.”
“I absolutely adore people and truly believe that some cuddles and a good belly rub is life’s greatest pleasure. At a “sturdy” 80 pounds I’m a big girl but I’m fantastic on leash and at 5 years young, I am the perfect age.”
“I’m housebroken, smart, and will do just about anything for a tasty treat! I would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but I can provide all the attention someone could need! If you are looking for an oversized lapdog, I promise to be the best companion ever and fill your days with long walks and big smiles! Apply to meet me today!”
NOTE: every dog, cat and child will react differently to a new pet, so proper and safe introductions are always important for a smooth and successful transition. Adoption fee is $225. They do not have open hours for public viewing of their adoptable animals. They are by appointment only.
If interested in adopting, please complete the adoption application. Once your application is approved, an appointment will be scheduled to visit with your desired pet. If old enough, they receive routine vaccinations.
