Annette “Hilde” M. Porter, age of 81, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at her home in Marshfield. Memorial Services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Deacon Ray Draeger will Officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday.
Hilde was born January 25, 1944, the daughter of Joseph and Impe Soltis in Ironwood, Michigan. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Raymond Porter. In her spare time she enjoyed bargain hunting, garage saling, crafting, and tending to her flower beds. She especially enjoyed gardening and knitting (even knitting countless baby blankets to donate). Those that knew Hilde best will miss her sense of humor, warm smile, as well as the love and devotion for her son Daniel.
Hilde is lovingly survived by her son: Daniel A. (Colleen Duranceau) Porter. She is further survived by her beloved dog, Snickers; as well as other family members and friends. She will truly be missed.
Hilde is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Impe; her husband: Raymond; as well as her children: Denise Lynn “Nieser” Porter and Bradley J. Porter.
