City of Marshfield Holding Public Involvement Meeting on Two Road Projects this Thursday, August 14th

The City of Marshfield, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, proposes roadway improvements on South Vine Avenue between East 14th Street and East 4th Street (Project ID: 6995-11-03/73) and between East 4th Street and East 2nd Street (Project ID: 6995-11-04/74) in Wood County.

MSA Professional Services, Inc., consulting engineers from Marshfield, Wisconsin, are currently preparing preliminary plans. The project is currently scheduled for construction in 2027 for project ID 6995-11-03/73 and 2028 for project ID 6995-11-04/74. MSA Professional Services, Inc. and the City of Marshfield are currently seeking public input for the roadway project.

A Public Involvement Meeting will be held at 5:30 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Marshfield City Hall, Council Chambers, located at 207 W. 6th Street, Marshfield, WI 54449. All interested and concerned citizens are invited to attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to present the preliminary plans of the proposed work, discuss the proposed schedule, construction traffic control, and gather public input. Any comments or questions that may be of interest to the design team are welcome.

The meeting will begin with a short presentation to provide an overview of the project, followed by time for questions and answers. Representatives from the City of Marshfield and MSA Professional Services, Inc., the design firm leading the project, will be available to discuss project details, address comments, and answer questions.

Persons with a concern for or knowledge about historic buildings and structures and archaeological sites are encouraged to attend this meeting and provide comments to MSA Professional Services, Inc. via the contact information below.
