Wisconsin Rapids Police Department had the honor of attending the WPPA Annual Awards Banquet, celebrating the dedication and bravery of their officers.
The Department is proud to announce that Lt. Foy received the prestigious Award for Valor, recognizing his exceptional courage in the line of duty. Additionally, Officer VanBerkel was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding performance during an incident on August 20th.
The Department thanks the Wisconsin Professional Police Association for this recognition and a heartfelt congratulations to Lt. Foy and Officer VanBerkel. Their commitment to the community and department does not go unnoticed.
