The Wood County Sheriff’s department responded to a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday.
According to the Department, on March 25th, around 6:36pm, the Wood County Dispatch Center was notified of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hwy 186 / North Road in the Township of Arpin.
Wood County Deputies and First responders made contact at the scene and medical procedures were initiated. One individual involved in the crash was med flighted via Life Link to Marshfield Medical Center. Another individual involved was transported via ambulance to MMC.
An initial on scene investigation was conducted. From this investigation it determined one of the vehicles involved in the crashed failed to yield the right of way from North Road while crossing STH Hwy 186.
The other vehicle involved was traveling westbound on STH Hwy 186 when the crash occurred. Wood County Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Arpin Fire Department, Pittsville Ambulance Service, Life Link Air Medical Transport and Dave’s Tow Service.
Those involved include 48-year-old Lori Trierweiler of Arpin, 18-year-old Kyla Evans of Hewitt, 18-year-old Lakota Marcott of Auburndale, and a juvenile passenger.
