State and Local Unofficial Results from Wisconsin’s 2025 Spring Primary

Wisconsin’s Spring Election Primary was held on Tuesday.

The only statewide race was the state superintendent race between incumbent Jill Underly and challengers Brittany Kinser and Jeff Wright. Of the three, Underly and Kinser will be advancing to the April 1st election receiving 177,098 and 160,966 votes. Wright came in third with 127,968 votes.

For Wood County results, Underly received 1,800 votes, Kinser received 2,315 votes, and Wright received 1,307 votes. For the Marshfield School Board, Dominic Pernsteiner received 854 votes, Dan Griesbach received 1,049 votes, Charles Norton received 188 votes, Coleman Grosbier received 722 votes, and Cathy Gorst received 838 votes.

Of the 5 candidates, all but Norton will be advancing to the April 1st Election as he received the least votes overall. The total votes for each candidate in Tuesday’s election, which includes voters in Wood, Marathon, and Clark County, were 1,239 for Griesbach, 1,008 for Pernsteiner, 1,005 for Gorst, 830 for Grosbier, and 210 for Norton.
