As 2024 comes to a close, the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter is reflecting on another successful year of saving lives and helping pets.
Their lifesaving work is not possible without the generosity of the community. For 2024, 741 animals came through their doors, 430 were adopted into loving homes, they had 458 stray cats and dogs, and 123 pets were reunited with their owners.
They also had 95 pet surrenders, 51 cat public spays/neuters, 42 TNR and working cats released, and 4 employees with more than 60 volunteers.
