Mary M. Allen

Mary M. Allen, age 90, passed away on September 18, 2024, with family by her side.
The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life.
Mary was born on September 4, 1934, in Fairfield, Idaho to Oliver and Agnes (Coleman) Grimm.
She married Gary Allen on September 11,1967, in Winnemucca, Nevada. Together they shared 55 amazing and loving years of marriage before Gary passed away in 2022.
She had many hobbies in life, including water skiing (in her younger days), taking trips to the casino, cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks, and even bowling from time to time. Most of all, her greatest joy in life was her family. She spent as much time as she could with them. She loved and adored her family, and they will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her children, Gerald (Brenda) Allen, Marsha (Calvin) Grunden, Kelvin Allen, Gordon (Betsy) Allen, Ben Thompson, and Leslie (Barb) Thompson; grandchildren, Brad, Rick, Brett, Gary, Brian, Calvin, Brandon, Misty, Jamie, Cody, Danny, and Keshla; many great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; parents; daughter in law, Jean; granddaughter, Bonnie; and two great- grandsons, Trevor and Riley.
The family would like to thank the staff at Astor Assisted Living as well as the staff at St. Croix Hospice.
