Rosa Garcia

Rosa Garcia, age 77, of Nekoosa, WI passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Stevens Point, WI.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa, WI. Rev. John Swing will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial Rites will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Rosa was born on August 16, 1948 in Mission, TX to Jose Garcia A. and Herminia Garcia D. Rosa loved spending time with her family. She also cherished her baby dolls, watching her novellas, and baking Mexican breads.
Rosa is survived by her son, Daniel (Flora) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Daniel Gonzalez Jr., Beatrice (Bradley) Webie, and Jessica Newby; seven great-grandchildren; sibling, Ramone Garcia (Lupe); three nieces, four nephews, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Juan Garcia, Salvador Garcia, Fidel Garcia, Andres Garcia, Josephina Garcia, and Rosa Guadulupe Garcia.
Rosa’s family would like to thank the entire staff at Sylvan Crossing Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice for their kindness and care of Rosa and the entire Garcia Family.
