Audrey M. Hein

Audrey M. Hein, age 89 of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 15, 2024 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Michelle Nickodemus will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
Audrey was born on March 8, 1935 in Madison, WI to the late Artman and Marie (Midthum) Ellingson. She married Robert K. Hein in Adams, WI. Audrey was an LPN at Adams County Memorial Hospital for 42 years before her retirement. Audrey was always an active member of Grace Lutheran church, and dedicated much of her time to helping with numerous local groups and organizations.
Audrey is survived by her children, Kimberly Harris, Mark (Julia) Hein, and Lisa (Michael) Peeters; eight grandchildren, Adam, Lexie, Jacob, Jason, Emma, Jasmine, Gabriel, and Aiden; as well as all of her nieces and nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; Parents Artman and Marie; daughter, Dedre Hein; grandson, Justin; Brother, Kenneth Ellingson; and sister Ardis Eley.
