Nancy J. Diedrich, age 87, of Tripoli, formerly of Abbotsford, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. The Rev. Donald Bruce and Rev. Brian Liermann will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.
Nancy was born on April 17, 1937, the daughter of Gilbert and Daisy (Klieman) Laack in Abbotsford on the family farm. She graduated from Abbotsford High School. On October 24, 1959, Nancy was united in marriage to Carl Diedrich at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. They moved to Milwaukee where she worked at Allen Bradley Company and JC Penney. After retirement, they moved to Tripoli where they have resided the past 25 years.
Nancy was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford and more recently Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Minocqua. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, traveling and collecting stuffed animals. Nancy especially loved and cherished her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl; one son, Kevin (Kathleen) Diedrich of Caledonia; three grandchildren: James Fagin, Ronan and Maura Diedrich; and one great-grandson, Iain Fagin. She is further survived by her sister, Betty Mouriski (Don Hach) of Spencer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Galen, Daniel and Larry Laack.
