Terry L. Jepson, age 77, left this earth on July 13, 2024, after a brief illness.
Terry was born on December 23, 1946, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He was the first of four children born to Lawrence and Ellen (King) Jepson. He attended Lincoln High School and Mid-State Technical College. Terry enrolled in the United States Army and was inducted in January of 1966. In 1968, he was sent to Vietnam where he was awarded the Medal for Meritorious Service and a combat infantry badge while serving with the 1st Infantry (Big Red One). Terry was a nursing assistant in the Veterans’ Administration in Tomah. His pride was as a fan of many sports, especially Lincoln High School wrestling and football where he was last employed.
Terry is survived by his loving sister, Rhonda (Richard) Jackan; brother Steve (Cindy) Jepson; brother-in-law, Dave Livernash (Holly – deceased); many nieces and nephews; cousins, including Ron King who also went on the October 2022 honor flight with Terry; and friends.
Always ready with a joke, story or snarky impersonation, Terry could be quite the entertainer. We will miss the man and his sharp wit. Terry, thank you for sharing your life with us.
His final resting place will be at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. He will receive the full military honors he deserves so much.
Thank you to Herman-Taylor Funeral Home for your assistance and the St. Croix Hospice for your compassion.
Terry L. Jepson
