Loretta M. Slattery

Loretta M. Slattery, age 93, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away at home with her family by her side on Sunday, July 7, 2024 in Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will take place at 11:30 AM on Friday, July 12, 2024 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Rudolph, WI. Rev. Janusz Kowalski will officiate the service. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM. Burial rites will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Rudolph, WI.
Loretta was born on May 1, 1931 in the town of Carson, WI to the late Walter and Minnie (Stelzer) Joosten. She married Robert Slattery on August 18, 1954 in Rudolph, WI. Loretta worked for Fey Publishing Co. for many years before raising her children on the family farm. Loretta was a lifelong member of St. Philip’s Catholic Church in Rudolph, WI. She was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women for many years.
Loretta is survived by her children, Jacob (Dawn) Slattery, Matthew (Lore) Slattery, Joanne (Rick) Weiler, Cindy (Denny) Marach, Sarah (Dave) Ehlert, Teresa (Bob) Anderson, and Martha (Mike) Konkol; brother, Chester Joosten; sister, Viola Thompson; sister-in-law, Viola Joosten; as well as her 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Sally; brothers, Edward, Elmer, Lawrence, Leo, and Anthony; and sisters, Margaret Kitowski, and Lorraine Mras.
Loretta’s family would like to express gratitude to her devoted caregivers, Dolly, Betty, Barbie, and the entire Aspirus comfort care hospice team for their kindness and care of Loretta and the entire family.
