U.S. News and World Report Finds Marshfield School District Makes Top 10% in the State and Nation

Every year, US News & World Report surveys thousands of schools across the country to find out the best of the best.

The Marshfield School District made it into the top 10% both state and nationwide. The Marshfield School District comes in #41 for Wisconsin High Schools and #1,668 in the nation.

For the state ranking, students have the opportunity to take Advanced PlacementĀ® coursework and exams. The APĀ® participation rate at Marshfield High School is 44%.

The total minority enrollment is 14%, and 33% of students are economically disadvantaged. Marshfield High School is the only high school in the Marshfield Unified School District.

For the national ranking, schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college. On their scorecard, Marshfield received a score of 90.55.

The scorecard looks at took at least on AP exam; passed at least one AP exam; mathematics proficiency; reading proficiency; science proficiency; and graduation rate.
