The Wood County Health Department is holding free car seat checks.
Everyone is welcome to a free check. Call 715-421-8911 for an appointment. Individuals who qualify for reduced-cost car seats must attend a regularly scheduled car seat check event to receive their education and car seat. Eligible recipients can receive a seat for a suggested donation of $25. Appointments required.
They will be at the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department on April 16th from 10:30am-12:30pm. For more information about car seat safety and eligibility, contact the Wood County Health Department at 715-421-8911.
