AbbyBank is warning about a scam circulating on Facebook.
It has come to their attention that there is a fraudulent post circulating on Facebook claiming to be from a lawyer’s office regarding a lawsuit investigation involving AbbyBank.
They want to assure all their customers that this claim is entirely false. AbbyBank is not aware of any lawsuit investigation. They believe this is a scam aimed at misleading their valued customers. They have reported this to the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) as well.
Authentic pages typically have a significant number of followers and engagement (likes, comments, shares) on their posts. Scam pages may have a low follower count and minimal engagement.
Be wary of posts containing spelling or grammatical errors, exaggerated claims, or requests for personal information.
