The Marathon County Sheriff has promoted Deputy Brad Tatro to the rank of detective.
Detective Tatro has been with the Sheriff’s Office for nearly eleven years having worked in the Patrol Division as a deputy and in the Administrative Division on our Court Security team.
In addition to his role as a deputy, Detective Tatro is a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team and currently serves as the team leader. Detective Tatro has worked tirelessly to bring advanced training for Crisis Negotiators to Marathon County.
Detective Tatro has demonstrated an ability to do very complex and thorough investigations. He was recently recognized for his work on a federal case involving the exploitation of a child.
This is but one example of the great work Detective Tatro has demonstrated. The Marathon County Sheriff is very confident in Detective Tatro’s abilities and knows that he will do an exceptional job in his new role.
