The Central Wisconsin Airport unveiled a 20-year master plan during an open house on Monday night.

More than 39,000 people fly from the airport every year. There have been a lot of changes at the airport since 1969. This master plan is the first step in a series of updates, which include a larger box hanger and modernizing and upgrading snow removal equipment facility and operations facility.

There would also be a new arrival and departure facility and more space for baggage claims. Funding for the project would come from multiple sources including grants. However, none of the improvements are a sure thing as they need to be vetted by the FAA.
