Musical Groups Line Up At Tuft's Mansion
Three musical groups will perform beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, May 18th at Tufts' Mansion in Neillsville. The Willie Wisely Trio will perform, with a special appearance by the Shuffling Carpenters. An official CD release party with Front Porch Swing will highlight the event.
Visitors can view the Neillsville Class of 2012 Art Show. Hors d'oeuvres are provided by M&M Catering. Cost is $5, with refreshments available. Reserve a table by calling 715-743-3346.

Parents’ Time-Out Program
Parents are invited to bring their children ages 6 weeks to 6th grade to East Gate Alliance Church, 2203 East Becker Road, Marshfield from 6:30 – 9:00 P.M. Friday May 18th for this month’s Parents’ Time-Out Program. An evening of games, crafts, singing, snacks, and a video will center on the theme Fishermen.
Children do not need to be preregistered and may come for part or all of the evening. The program is free and offered to the community on the third Friday evening of every other month. Its goals are to strengthen families by providing parents some time off and to provide a quality program of activities for the social and spiritual growth of the children. Helicopter Expo Set At Highground
The Highground Helicopter Expo will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19th. This annual event is open to the public, and there is no charge to see the helicopter and the military vehicles on display. The Highground holds the event every spring as part of its mission of healing and education.

Lorie Line And Her Fab Five Perform At Chestnut Center
Lorie Line brings her highly popular intimate series tour (2012) to Marshfield’s Chestnut Avenue Center for the Arts on Sunday evening, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. Lorie Line & her Fab Five will perform their show “Live in the Sunshine”. The concert title plays off of a traditional hymn from Line’s brand new, greatly-anticipated CD, The Heritage Collection, Volume Six.
Tickets are $39 general admission; $34 with groups of 10 or more. The Republican Party of Wood County invites the public to join members for "Pints and Politics” at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, at Four Stars Family Restaurant, 2911 8th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids. State Senator Glen Grothman, (R) West Bend, will be the guest speaker for the evening.
Several newly announced candidates for the Wisconsin state legislature are also invited, including candidate for the senate, Steve Abrahamson, and candidate for the assembly, Pat Testin.
This is an open invitation to a largely informal opportunity to mingle and speak with invited guests and friendly fellow Republicans. Good food, bottle beer and wine by the glass are available for purchase.
